Stoke chairman Coates admits no Assaidi movement

Stoke City chairman Peter Coates admits there's no movement over Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi.

The two clubs are as much as £2m apart on valuation after Liverpool sought around £5m for the Morocco international.

"We can't do anything until we know where he is regarding his recovery," Coates told The Sentinel.

"We do have a serious interest, but we have other irons in the fire to make sure we have got the right balance in that area."
