Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross admits he hopes to catch the eye of England coach Fabio Capello.
Centre-back Shawcross gained his first England call-up just hours after the Ramsey incident in February but did not play.
He has been in magnificent form this term, gaining rave reviews for his performances at the heart of Stoke's defence.
And another England call cannot be far away for the former Manchester United trainee.
Shawcross added: "It's just about consistency now and not making mistakes. I hope I get noticed and that chance comes around again soon and I can get into a squad and kick on from there."
