Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross has dismissed the complaints from Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

Shawcross' tackle on Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey, which resulted in a broken leg for the 19-year-old Gunner, brought him attention for all the wrong reasons.

Emirates boss Wenger described the challenge in February as "horrendous".

But Shawcross declared: "He can say what he wants, it will make me stronger.

"We'll let our performances talk."
