Stoke City skipper Ryan Shawcross says he'll take his England World Cup snub in his stride.
Shawcross insists he bears no grudges and still has his heart set on forcing his way back into senior international reckoning next season.
"I haven't spoken to him since then. It is a target of mine to get back in the squad, so hopefully if I can play well enough I can make it impossible for him to not pick me.
"That's my mission for next year and hopefully I can get back into that squad," he told The Sentinel.
