Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross has played down a bust-up with Kenwyne Jones over Tony Pulis' reign.
Newspaper reports claimed the Stoke skipper angrily berated Jones for claiming the club played `sky' football last season and several players would have left had Pulis remained as manager.
But Shawcross told The Sentinel: "I think it's just the papers making up stories to unsettle the camp. I can only say the spirit is good and there are no rifts.
"There's no rift, no problem. The size of Kenwyne, it would be just stupid of me to say anything."
