Stoke City skipper Ryan Shawcross supports the prospect of the Premier League staging games overseas.
The call is growing for a competitive fixture to be played abroad to help spread the game globally.
Shawcross says: "It's a worldwide game now, so it will be a great idea. I've been to Wembley to watch NFL games, so if the Premier League can replicate that it will be good.
"There's a lot who watch the Premier League (on TV) and I'm sure if they've got the chance to watch us live they would fill out the stadiums."
