Stoke boss rubbishes Crouch QPR rumours

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes insists that Peter Crouch is not leaving the club this month.

The towering centre-forward was being heavily linked with another reunion with Harry Redknapp, now at QPR, but Hughes has rubbished those claims saying the former R's, Portsmouth, Liverpool and Tottenham man will remain a Potter.

"No, it is not an option," he said flatly when quizzed on the possible departure of Crouch.

Crouch arrived at the Britannia Stadium from Spurs in 2011 and has gone on to score 21 Premier League goals in 85 outings.
