Stoke City boss Gary Rowett concedes they face a battle to keep hold of England goalkeeper Jack Butland.
Butland has been linked with Liverpool and Chelsea since the end of last season.
Rowett said, “Jack is of course one we know will be highly sought after but in a way I don't mind that. You want all of your players to be highly sought after because that means we've got fantastic players here that other clubs are noticing and the staff here are doing really good jobs.
“I'll never be fearful of clubs wanting our players. Whether anyone pays the money anyone thinks a player is worth or whether a manager wants to let a player go is a completely different ball game."
