Stoke City boss Tony Pulis admits he's been working without a contract as terms continue to be discussed.
"Yes, I was working without a contract but I never had a problem with that because I trust Peter," he told the Sentinel. "Obviously I'm pleased we've been able to sit down together and sort something out now.
"It's never been a problem not getting things done until now because we had shook hands on things in the past and that was always good enough for me.
"But Peter came to me at around Christmas to talk about getting a contract signed and I had no problem - it's just taken until now to get it in place."
