Stoke City boss Tony Pulis says Michael Owen could still stay next season.
Owen could get a new Stoke deal even if he is out all season.
Owen, 33, is again a doubt for tomorrow's Fulham trip.
Pulis said: "He doesn't need to play a certain amount to win a contract."
