Stoke boss Pulis: We'll be careful with Arismendi

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis says they will bring through slowly exciting Uruguayan prospect Diego Arismendi.

"We are not saying he's going to come into the team straight away, but we believe he's got potential worth investing in," Pulis told The Sentinel.

"I've watched him on video and Dave Kemp has been to see him play.

"We've also done quite a bit of background on him because we've got people who can make the right phone calls.

"He can do a bit of everything in midfield. He's a good runner, he's got good ability and he's a good size. He's got all the tricks in the box for me.

"He'll take time to settle, and his English needs to improve, but we will keep a close eye on him.

"He's got some relatives over at the moment and his girlfriend, whose doing a teaching degree, plans to come over as well."
