Stoke boss Pulis: We tried to do deadline day business

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis admits he had feelers out for yesterday’s transfer deadline day.

After defeat at Manchester United, Pulis hinted he had tried and failed with at least one signing amid preparations for last night's game ahead of the deadline.

"We wanted to try and bring a couple in, but it never happened," he said.
