Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has his own history against FA Cup final opponents Manchester City.
He wants to beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final - to banish the painful memory of losing to them in 1999.
The Stoke boss, until yesterday, had not been back to Wembley since a cruel Second Division play-off defeat with Gillingham.
Pulis' Gills threw away a two-goal lead with two minutes left against City and then lost on penalties.
And after his current club's magnificent 5-0 win over Bolton, he said: "It will mean more against City.
"We didn't deserve to lose that game and I had never been back to Wembley for a game since because of it.
"But it made me a stronger person. You take things out of defeat as well as victory.
"The final will be tough, they've had a lot of money thrown at it. But we'll do our best, as we have here."
