Stoke boss Pulis: Top six push not in us for another six years

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis says they're still six years away from talking about a top six finish.

The Britannia gaffer reckons talk of a top-six bid is unrealistic as he believes Stoke have to be in the top flight for 10 YEARS before they can consider themselves fully established among the elite.

Pulis said: "It's been a great year. To get to the FA Cup final and then qualify from our group in the Europa League and be in the Premier League's top 10 means everyone should be very proud.

"Now the problem is managing expectation.

"There comes a point where you take the club to a level that exceeds what it should be achieving.

"What we've done so far this season has been remarkable but we've only been here for four years, not 40."
