Chelsea remain keen on Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
The Sentinel says Begovic is staying put in the January transfer window - despite on-going interest from Chelsea.
That's the belief of City boss Tony Pulis after insisting that past problems are now behind the pair.
"Asmir has done smashing," said Pulis, "and the important thing is he keeps doing well because Thomas (Sorensen) is eager to get his place back.
"He wasn't going anywhere (in August), for all what Chelsea might have been saying. We thought he was a good prospect and we paid Portsmouth good money for him.
"A lot of outside influences were blowing in Asmir's ear and that was wrong."
