Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has told Ryan Shawcross he must get over his clash with Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey if he wants to make England's World Cup squad.
Shawcross has endured a difficult fortnight after the challenge that left Arsenal's Ramsey with a broken leg.
Pulis said: "It has been a difficult time for Ryan, but he's now got to get his head down and get back to what he does best. We were delighted to see him selected for England. The next step is to get in the side, not just be on the bench.
"If he wants to keep in the England team he's got to do well for us. That's his challenge for the rest of the season."
