Stoke City boss Tony Pulis rates tomorrow's clash with Besiktas their biggest European night in 40 years.
He believes that a wall of noise will play into Stoke's hands, with the Potters having proved in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Manchester United that the Britannia Stadium can be a difficult place to visit.
"It will be a fantastic night, our biggest European home tie for almost 40 years," said Pulis.
"The challenge for our supporters is to generate as much, if not more, noise as their fans are sure to make out there.
"The atmosphere at the Britannia Stadium was incredible on Saturday and we need the place to be rocking again come Thursday."
