Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is ready to hand Diego Arismendi a debut in their Carling Cup clash with Blackpool.

"He's got a good chance of being involved against Blackpool," said Pulis, "and I've got to say I've been pleased with his attitude in training and in the two reserve games."

"The new players we've brought in are a broad cross-section in terms of experience and nationality, but I've got to say they have all mixed in really well so far."
