Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has praised Glen Whelan and Danny Pugh for the way they've battled for a first team return this season.

"Danny and Glenn have been a credit to themselves and their profession. They have stayed positive around the place and been no trouble at all," said Pulis.

"They have rolled their sleeves up, worked hard and kept their chins up. That is very important because people who mope about can spread their feelings to others."
