Stoke City boss Tony Pulis was delighted with Tuncay Sanli's goal scoring performance in their draw with Wigan Athletic.
James Beattie's spat with Pulis - and likely January exit - has paved the way for Tuncay to make his mark up front for Stoke.
The former Middlesbrough striker scored Stoke's first equaliser.
"I was very pleased for Tunni," said Pulis. "I thought Tunni was very good. He sparked a lot of things off, not just when he had the ball but his work-rate and his endeavour were first class."
