Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is determined to land Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone.
Stoke tried to renegotiate terms as they feared being left with a £1million wage bill if the player broke down after signing, says The Sun.
But the two clubs were unable to agree yesterday - and that means Huddlestone cannot face Arsenal tomorrow.
While the deal is off for now, it could go through if talks resume next week.
