Stoke City boss Tony Pulis says he never expects Mamady Sidibe to score a hatful of goals.
After Sidiby's winner against West Brom, Pulis explained: "Let's put it this way, Mama's never going to be prolific.
"In a way, it's because he's not selfish enough like most strikers. He doesn't play quite the same way.
"But what Mama does do is work his socks off.
"It's not only in attack either, he is always ready to drop to stop the opposition. He's our first line of defence. We all appreciate his value."
Softly-spoken Sidibe admitted: "I don't score so many, so I like to make them count. The manager has encouraged me in a specific role, which suits me fine.
"I enjoy it because I am doing what's best for my team. That's all that is important."
