Stoke City boss Tony Pulis insists winger Liam Lawrence is staying.

Lawrence has failed to break into the Potters' first team after recovering from an ankle injury, prompting reports that new Derby boss Nigel Clough was ready to swoop.

But Pulis has labelled the suggestion that Lawrence is on his way out of the Britannia Stadium as "absolute nonsense".
