Stoke boss Pulis in high-level transfer summit

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is already discussing potential transfer deals with rival clubs.

The Sentinel says Pulis has continued laying the groundwork for possible moves later in the summer by meeting representatives of Premier League clubs in both London and the north to discuss potential transfer business.

And chairman Peter Coates was today concluding his visit to a two-day meeting of Premier League chairman in Leicestershire.

He was prominent among those delegates backing measures to tighten up the 'fit and proper persons' test' to try to prevent fly-by-night owners gaining control of Premier League clubs.
