Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is furious he couldn't play Geoff Cameron in yesterday's draw at Reading.
He is demanding that national associations pay for staging "terrible friendlies" after new Potters signing Cameron was ruled out of the Potters' season-opening trip to Reading.
US international midfielder Cameron, 27, is stuck in New York, having health tests as part of visa rules after the States' midweek friendly in Mexico.
"We're getting more of these terrible games," blasted Pulis. "If countries paid players' wages and insurance costs, we'd see how many friendly matches get played."
