Stoke City boss Tony Pulis admits Ricardo Fuller is one out of the box.
Pulis took a gamble when he paid Southampton £900,000 for him.
The Potters chief said: "Ric twice agreed terms and then went on to fail medicals. They said he wasn't fit enough.
"I thought we were getting a bargain. We knew he had the natural ability but it was just getting the games out of him.
"And his knee has been fine - we've not had any problems with it. The big question was whether he would be fit enough to play the games but he's done that.
"He's naturally gifted and he doesn't know what he's doing - which is brilliant. If he doesn't know, then there's no way the opposition will!"
