Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has jumped to the defence of West Ham United counterpart Gianfranco Zola.

After victory over the Hammers on Saturday, Pulis said: "He has been unfortunate with injuries so far but they are getting players back.

"They won't finish in the bottom half of the table with the players they have got."
