Stoke boss Pulis defends Marshall sale to Leicester

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis says his hands were tied over the sale of Ben Marshall.

Pulis defended the decision to sell winger Marshall to Leicester for an initial £750,000, rising to £1m, following the failure to tie him to a new contract.

He said: "We are disappointed we've lost Ben because he's a very good player, but circumstances have determined what the club has done."
