Stoke City boss Tony Pulis was happy to give Peter Crouch the captain's armband for their draw with Tottenham.

Pulis said he handed the captain's armband to former Spurs striker Crouch as a one-off gesture as he was playing against his old club.

"He had a great time at Tottenham and we wanted to do that for him," he said. "We pulled him before the game and told him."
