Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is coy over interest in Cardiff City striker Jay Bothroyd.
Pulis admits he needs to strengthen his striker options with Mamady Sidibe facing a year on the sidelines.
"I think [Cardiff boss] Dave Jones would be delighted you are touting his players around, but we will do our business the way we do our business and that is through the right channels," he said.
