Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has been hit with a £10,000 fine by the Football Association for comments directed at the referee in a recent Carling Cup match.
The Potters lost 2-1 to Liverpool in the fourth round of the competition on October 26 with Pulis criticising referee Lee Probert at the after-match.
Pulis was charged with improper conduct, received a fine and was warned about his future actions by the FA.
"Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has today been fined £10,000 by The FA and warned as to his future conduct after being charged in respect of media comments which were found by an independent Regulatory Commission to have constituted improper conduct," said a statement from the FA.
