Stoke City boss Tony Pulis says Martin O'Neill's Aston Villa have a big chance of finishing in the top four this season.

"With Arsenal stuttering, Martin has taken full advantage," said Pulis.

"I hope they do finish in the top four because it will be a boost for everyone outside the big clubs. But I just want to take three points there and then he can go on and qualify for the Champions League.

"He has spent a lot of money, but invested it well. The young players he has brought in are top notch.

"We have to stand up to them, they are powerful and they will be coming at us full-tilt."
