Tony Pulis has tipped youth-team coach Adrian Pennock for management after seeing the former Gillingham defender pilot Stoke's Academy team to fourth in the table behind the two Manchesters and Liverpool.

The Potters manager told The Sentinel: "Our lads went and won at Manchester United the other week and they deserve enormous credit for that, along with Adrian and his staff.

"Adrian has impressed me greatly in his 18 months here and I believe he can eventually become a very good manager in the Football League."
