Stoke City boss Tony Pulis admits Thomas Sorensen was unhappy with his axing for victory over Swansea City.
The Danish goalkeeper made way for Asmir Begovic.
And Pulis explained: "We decided to give Thomas a break - he looked a little tired - and although he's unhappy, no pro should be happy when he is left out.
"Sometimes you get people who don't bother to come in and ask about it and it makes you wonder."
Begovic is set to carry on in goal today at home against Norwich.
Pulis added: "The two of them are good pros. They don't want to be sitting around. They want to play football."
