Stoke boss Pulis admits Shotton could leave again on-loan

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis admits Ryan Shotton could be sent out on-loan again.

Shotton made his Brit debut in the FA Cup in the draw with Cardiff City.

Shotton earned positive reports on loan at Barnsley last season, having previously impressed at Tranmere Rovers.

Pulis said: "I like to get players out on loan. We have been pretty successful, so it hasn't been one of those situations where we have had the opportunity to play him.

"If I don't think he is ready to have a run of games, then I might loan him out.

"But he has done smashing and I am pleased with him."
