Stoke boss Pulis admits likely change of style

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis expects a change of style for their Premiership campaign.

He told BBC Radio: "The better players you can get, the more you will react to what players you have as a manager.

"If you have good footballers you will play more football than if you have strong, fit, aggressive players.

"As a manager, you stay in the job by results, nothing else.

"The resources we have had has led to me putting a team together that I think will get results. Next year, if we can bring in better players, then I think the team will evolve. They always do around good players.

"Two years ago we brought Lee Hendrie, Patrik Berger and Salif Diao and we moved the ball around the pitch a lot better and a lot quicker than I have done in any team I have had before.

"I don't mind that, but I will not get away from the fact that, as a manager, first and foremost, to be successful, you have to get results."
