Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is planning talks with Manchester United today for defender Ryan Shawcross.
"We just hope Sir Alex will continue to help us and we can have Ryan until the end of the season," said Pulis. "I will hopefully speak to Sir Alex on Monday."
