Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has declared he will improve his squad in the transfer market this upcoming summer.
City has had an underwhelming season after finishing in the top half last campaign. They currently sit 14th on the Premier League table with just one match remaining.
Speaking to the Stoke Sentinel, Hughes said: "We need to look at the squad and make sure we are stronger going into next year.
"Clearly, we've obviously got areas we can be better in.
"This year has been a disappointment in terms of what we have been able to produce, but the last three years we've surpassed, I think, everybody's expectations.
"Maybe this is just a plateauing of where we are, but it will give us the opportunity to kick on again.
