Stoke City boss Mark Hughes believes he's been unfair with Saido Berahino.
Stoke's £12m striker will head into his first full campaign at the club still seeking a first goal after eight starts and five sub appearances.
"He would be under more pressure if he'd never done it before," said Hughes, “and you were putting unrealistic targets to him.
“But he's got the potential, we've seen it before and he's done it before, and that's what we base our thoughts on with what he can do next year.
“And we will create more chances, that's obviously what we need to do to maximise our chances of winning games and scoring goals
“We need to help him as he needs to help us and help himself."
