Stoke City boss Mark Hughes insists Charlie Adam is not for sale.

The Scot has been linked with Burnley.

“I think there was a little bit of interest in Charlie, but we haven't encouraged that," said Hughes.

“Charlie is a part of what we are doing here moving forward, so that's not a situation that will develop."
