Stoke City boss Mark Hughes says skipper Ryan Shawcross is England class.

Shawcross was overlooked for next week's friendly with Denmark.

"He should be in the squad," said Stoke boss Hughes. "Jagielka has dropped out and, when you look at the centre halves in there, he had a good shout."
