Stoke City boss Mark Hughes admits they're in the Capital One Cup to win it.

Stoke needed a penalty shootout to overcome Birmingham City last night.

"I know some clubs prioritise the league they are in very early on in the season, but I think that with the squad I've got we can more than manage a cup run.

"If you have a good cup run, it also helps your league form anyway," said Hughes.
