Stoke City boss Mark Hughes insists Glen Johnson is not for sale.
He insists the former England international has a valued place at Stoke and isn't about to be sold back to his first club West Ham.
Hughes insists there is an option for Stoke to extend Johnson's stay into a third year at the end of the current campaign – one they look like taking.
"We've got an option," Hughes stressed to The Sentinel. "There seems to be a lot of stories about Johnno and I think they are more agent led.
"Perhaps it's a tribute to how well he has been doing since he came back into the team after injury and we don't mind that."
