Stoke boss Hughes: PSG winger Jese going nowhere

Stoke City expecting to keep hold of Paris Saint-Germain attacker Jese Rodriguez says manager Mark Hughes.

The 24-year-old has not enjoyed the best of spells during his loan spell at the Potters this season.

But despite his struggles, Hughes has stated that he expects the attacker to remain at the Bet365 Stadium beyond the end of the campaign.

The manager said: "We'll see, he only came back in last Thursday and had been away for almost two weeks. We're not quite sure how much work he's been able to do. It's been difficult for him as he's been in hospital for most of that time.

"He's not quite where he needs to be to be able to be a factor for us. He might get back to the level he needs to be at very soon, hopefully."
