Stoke City boss Mark Hughes feels they can make Premier League history this season.
Hughes, speaking ahead of Sunday's clash at Aston Villa, believes they can finish higher than 11th for the first time and top 47 points for the first time... two achievements they reached in their second season in the Premier League in 2009/10.
"There's a number of things we can achieve if we have a good finish to the season," said Hughes.
"Obviously there's the highest position Stoke have had in the Premier League and the biggest points total. So why not have a real push between now and the end of the season to see how many things we can achieve?
"I sense the players maybe recognise where we are in our season and it's up to us to kick on."
