Stoke City boss Mark Hughes hopes to welcome new signing Ramadan Sobhi this week.

Sobhi, aged 19, will join from Egyptian champions Al Ahly and is likely to fly out to join his new team-mates in Florida this week.

Hughes said: “I understand that we are just trying to get him the right visas to come and join us. It can take a few days and once that is resolved he can come and join us.

“The process is a bit frustrating but there's no problem. We hope to see him out in America or if not, when we get back."
