Stoke City boss Mark Hughes insists he can switch off from the world of football quite easily.
Hughes, now in his 16th year in management, has no problem relaxing.
He said: "It does get easier with experience.
"But everyone deals with it in different ways. I am fortunate that I am able to go home, shut the door and switch off. Other managers find that more difficult than I do.
"I am thankful I have the ability to do that. I can imagine if you start taking things home with you it affects your family life as well, it's a vicious circle and there's no end.
"You may have fleeting moments when things come into your mind but I am not dwelling on things or sitting in a darkened room flicking the light switch on and off.
"Once the work is done, once I have made decisions about team selection and who is going to play and who isn't, I don't dwell on them after that."
