Stoke City boss Mark Hughes admits Peter Crouch could be allowed to move on.
Hughes stopped short of saying he would let Crouch go in January, permanently or on loan.
But he did concede: "He wants more game time and I'm aware of that.
"We haven't been able to give him the time he wants, but I know he needs that and things change very, very quickly in football and he's got to be ready when the opportunity presents itself.
"At the moment we are in good health and we've got a senior group, so some guys miss out. But it's a long season, injuries and suspensions occur."
