Stoke City boss Mark Hughes was delighted with matchwinner Marko Arnautovic after victory over Chelsea.

Chelsea performed creditably, but luck was not on their side and Marko Arnautovic scored the only goal after 53 minutes.

"It was good skill and I thought he was excellent on the night," said Hughes when reflecting on Arnautovic's 52nd minute winner.

"Chelsea are a good side and we asked questions of them when a lot of teams wouldn't have been able to.

"There was great quality and big performance by everybody."
