Stoke City boss Mark Hughes turned on his players after defeat at Swansea City.
Swans enjoyed a crucial 2-0 win against Stoke, which saw Marko Arnautovic blaze a penalty high and wide.
"I was disappointed with how we started the game," Hughes complained, "because we talked about that beforehand and were hoping to affect Swansea's attitude to the game with their confidence low.
"We knew we could affect that by being lively, but we allowed them a bit of ascendancy and I think they scored from their first corner.
"We were in the right position, but didn't challenge for the ball.
"It settled them down and it was exactly what they needed and what we didn't.
"Second half we were the more dominant side, but clearly the match-defining moment was the penalty.
"We were pushing for a goal before the award and it needs to go in.
"Then lo and behold we miss the penalty and within 20 or 30 seconds they score from a deflected shot and at 2-0 it's very difficult for us."
